Our executive management, and Close Trustees (Cayman) Limited, supported by a dedicated administrative team, provides board or trustee participation to an excess of 250 funds having net assets in the region of US$70 billion.
All Funds are subject to an ongoing internal monitoring programme including, but not limited to:
- Review of net assets values and performance reports.
- Participation in board meetings.
- Supervision of service providers.
- Management of the audit process.
- Communication and liaison with regulatory authorities.
We understand the fiduciary obligations of the Funds on which we serve and look to add significant value and to provide investor comfort with minimal disruption to the fund operations.
Liquidations
Members of our executive management team act as joint liquidators in the voluntary winding up of solvent funds and other corporate entities, registered in both the Cayman Islands and the B.V.I. Our knowledgeable staff can provide guidance for all stages of the liquidation process, including the cancellation of the certificate of registration for funds registered with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA). Additionally, we can also provide the documents and make the relevant filings in connection with a voluntary striking off.
